It’s that time of the year again for the McHenry County Bar Association Law Day Committee to announce the 2022 Law Day Essay Contest Theme and invite all McHenry County middle school students in grades 6 – 8 to participate.
Due Date: March 2022
Essay poster: Please ask your MS teacher or Mrs. VanderPal for a copy.
This year’s Law Day theme is:
“In times of change how does the Constitution protect
a more perfect Union?”

Friday Night’s Home High School Girls and Boys games vs. South Beloit will be Varsity only starting at 6:00 with the Girls followed by the Boys at 7:30.
7th Grade Middle School Boys will play in the Lakes Region Tournament this Saturday at 10:00 vs. Prairie Crossing at Johnsburg Jr. High $3.00 & $2.00 admission fee
The Middle School Cheerleading Expo will also be at Johnsburg Jr. High starting at 3:00. *** Please note change from the originally schedule 5:00 start.
8th grade Middle School Boys tournament information will be posted soon, we will be playing on Friday night the 10th. Time, team and sight TBD.
AHHS: S1 Final Exams are next week...
*Final Exams will take place Dec. 15th -Dec. 17th.
*Don't forget that final exams are 20% of your S1 grade.
A fun day is planned for tomorrow, Wed., Dec. 8th. For the Winter Spirit Week, the MS/HS students have Ugly Sweater Day & the Elementary will have a Principal Surprise!
