Congratulations to both Jack Stewart and Caleb Linneman they both wrestled really hard and represented the school and community in a great way this past weekend at the IESA State Tournament!
Caleb finished 6th in the State. Great job you guys we are proud of you!!

AHHS: Congratulations to senior, Justin Gritmacker, for being the recipient of the very prestigious DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) award.
The DAR Good Citizen award recognizes and rewards high school seniors who exemplify good citizenship. Students who have been selected display dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities to an outstanding measure. Justin possesses the many qualities of a good citizen. He participates in many sports, clubs, and volunteer organizations and is respected by his peers for his integrity and the quality of his character. Congratulations, Justin!

*** Friday 3/3 MS Girls 7th Grade Basketball Tournament begins at Stanton. We play Prairie Crossing at 7:00 bus time is 5:15. The 8th Grade Girls Tournament starts on Saturday at Home. We play Park at 9:00 to start the Tournament. Remember cost of the tournament is $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for students. ***
*** Thursday 3/2 last 7th & 8th grade girls basketball game tonight vs. Park 4:30. Come out and support the 7th & 8th grade teams as they play their last regular season game tonight. Also a reminder to all High School winter athletes the winter sports banquet will be this Sunday at 5:00 in the auditorium. Hope to see everyone there.

*** Congratulations to our MS Wrestlers we had 4 Regional Champions Hunter Nelson, Caleb Linneman, Jack Stewart and Alan Grorostieta. Three second place finishers George Longfield-Loftis, Logan Klein and Johnny Misiek. Hayden Nelson and Kyle Linneman both took third place. All nine boys will move into the Sectionals this coming weekend at Johnsburg. All the guys wrestled hard great job as a team!!!

AHHS: Rockford University visited for our "College and Career Readiness" lunch and learn series. The Rockford University rep answered student questions, shared materials/resources, shared information about different programs, and provided information about scholarships offered.
