"I chose welding because it is a useful skill to have and to further my career in having my own welding shop. This class has given me a hands-on approach on what becoming a welder is like. Some things I like about the class is the ability to work with your hands and the class shows you how to improve from your mistakes."---Welding II, Colton Vanderstappen

February is CTE Month and we would like to highlight some of our students in Career Technical Education!
"I am taking a Certified Nursing Assistants class (or CNA for short), because I want to learn more about nursing and what it's like being a nurse. I am learning how to take care of people and some of the rules that come with the job. I am learning so much and I am loving it! We get to go into lab every Thursday and get to practice what we have learned that week, whether it be learning how to make a bed, or how to care for someone who can't get out of bed. We are given situations, and expected to know what we are doing, which helps us prepare for what we could expect if we get a job as a nurse."---CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant, Hannah Reiter
