Celebrate CTE Month! Career and Technical Education Month is a public awareness campaign that takes place each February to celebrate CTE, the accomplishments of CTE programs, and the importance of CTE for all students of all ages. The 2023 CTE theme this year is: Celebrate Today, Own Tomorrow This month we will also share the stories of leadership and excellence from our CTE AHHS students and raise awareness of the crucial role that CTE has in readying our students for careers.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County BIG Futures Program is a brand new mentoring program for individuals ages 16 to 24 with a focus on college and career readiness, as well as necessary life skills and support in individualized interest areas. The BIG Futures program is a program specifically for students facing adversity, who would benefit from a strategically matched 1:1 mentoring relationship with a successful adult from the McHenry County community.
